Original painting was inspired by my favorite walk with my Boston Terrier, Guinness. Being fortunate to live on Vancouver Island allows me to be in contact with nature nearly every day. As I hike the near by forests and parks I observe same areas in different light of the day and during it’s seasonal changes. After a period of time, it is this familiarity of subject matter that provides me with more in depth analysis of the painting approach.
