Original painting based on the expedition to the Mackenzie Range in eastern Yukon. Being fortunate to paint in the Yukon and Alaska for over 20 years I have created a strong spiritual bond to the land. The seasonal changes that blankets this vast territory provides me with never ending inspiration, from stillness of winter to bright colours of the autumn. Even so the Yukon still remains mainly untouched wilderness, the impact of climate change is becoming highly visible and felt.
