Original painting is based on various plein air sketches and canoe adventures on the lakes of Northern Ontario. The precambrian Canadian shield along with wind swept pines is a iconic image of the Eastern Canada. I love painting this subject since it takes me back to my roots of early landscape painting in Canada.
